FALL 2020 EBOARD
PRAGNYA KULKARNI
Captain
Pragnya is currently a sophomore studying Biomedical Science and is also one of our Captains this semester. She is trained in several dance styles including Bharatanatyam, Ballet and modern. Some of her hobbies include baking, dancing, and painting. We are so thankful and excited to see all of the the graceful moves she has in store!
SUSHMITA SAJI
Captain
Sush is one of our captains this semester! She is a second year student from Tampa and is majoring in Public Health. She has been dancing since she was five and has a background in Kuchipudi, contemporary, Bhangra, and Bollywood fusion. She enjoys painting, playing piano, and playing with her puppies. We are so excited to see the passion she brings to the team!
ADITI PATEL
Team Manager
Aditi is a senior from Palm Harbor, Florida majoring in Biomedical Sciences. Aditi joined the team in the Fall of 2017 as a freshman. Her dance experience was mostly in Garba and Folk for the annual India Festival competition in Tampa. She was captain for three semesters and then became Nakhra's team manager. We are so thankful for her and all the hard work she does!
SHANNON MCLAUGHLIN
Team Manager
Shannon McLaughlin is currently a sophomore from Baltimore, Maryland studying Mechanical Engineering. She is one of our team managers this term! She is trained in various ballroom and latin dance styles, and enjoys knitting in her free time. She joined the team to learn new styles of dance and spend time with an amazing community of friends. We are so excited to see what she will bring to the team this term!
RAISA ZAMAN
Team Manager
Raisa is one of the Team Managers this semester. She is on a Pre-Law track and this will be her fourth semester on the team! Some of her hobbies include playing with her guinea pigs and reading. We are so excited to have her as one of our Team Managers!
DIVYA JOHN
Treasurer
Divya is a sophomore majoring in biomedical sciences on a pre-med track. She is from Kissimmee, Florida. She will be a co-treasurer for this term. She joined the team in order to pursue a leadership opportunity in something she loves. We are super happy to have her as a part of the team!
JANKI PATEL
Treasurer
Janki is a current freshman from Perry, Florida majoring in Biomedical sciences. She enjoys baking and hanging out with friends. She will be one of our treasurers this term and we are so excited to see what she brings onto the team!
SAMISKHYA BEHERA
Event Coordinator
Sami is a junior and she will be the Event-Coordinator for Bulls Nakhra this semester! She joined Nakhra because of her love for Bollywood dancing. This will be her second semester as a part of the team. Some of her hobbies include swimming and arts and crafts. We are so excited to see all of the fun events she has planned for this season!
SPURITHA BANDHARU
Dress/ Apparel Chair
Spuritha is a freshman from Hyderabad, India majoring in computer science! She has been learning and performing Kathak and Bollywood for a very long time and loves dance more than anything. Some of her hobbies include playing the keyboard, editing photos, and spending time with friends. We are so excited to have her as our Dress/Apparel Chair for Bulls Nakhra this year, and can’t wait to see the amazing styles she has in store for us!
CHAMANTHI KONIDALA
Graphic/ Web Designer
Chamanthi is a freshman majoring in biomedical sciences this year. She’s from Richmond, Virginia! She’ll be the co-chair for the Graphic and Web designing subgroup of Bulls Nakha. She joined the team because she has had a love for dance since she was younger, and has spent most of her childhood at tap dance and bollywood dance classes. She really enjoys painting and photography. We’re super stoked to see all of the creativity she brings with her!
ANEESHA JOSHY
Graphic/ Web Designer
Aneesha is a freshman from Tampa, Florida, majoring in Health Sciences. She is one of the co-chairs for Graphics and Web designing for the team! She has learned classical and bollywood dance since she was very young and has had a growing passion towards dance. Her hobbies include drawing and baking. We’re ecstatic to see all of the cool designs she will contribute!
